Senior software engineer building secure, scalable systems on AWS.
Over nearly three years at Zeus Learning I have progressed from intern to Senior Software Engineer, delivering payments, authentication and microfrontend systems on AWS with Go, TypeScript and GraphQL. My current focus is OIDC-based single sign-on and AI agent tooling.
Repeat checkout requests were each generating a new Stripe API call. I engineered a Go REST API with idempotent session handling and AWS ElastiCache caching, which reduced those redundant calls by 70%.

Previously, every repeat request resulted in a Stripe API call.
−40%
Checkout response latency
With repeat requests served from ElastiCache, the Stripe round trip no longer sat in the response path, and checkout response latency improved by 40%.

Microfrontend load time
To shorten initial load across the React microfrontends, I introduced code-splitting with React.lazy, Suspense and dynamic imports, reducing load time by 23%.

Identity providers on zero-downtime certificate rotation
Periodic SAML certificate rotation carried downtime risk and manual effort. I designed a two-phase (primary/secondary) scheme that migrates all 12 identity providers within a defined window before the outgoing certificate is retired, eliminating both.

Leading identity and single sign-on design.
Architected an OIDC-based single sign-on proof of concept, enabling a third-party platform to authenticate through an internal Identity Provider against the company's Service Provider.
Designed a two-phase (primary/secondary) certificate rotation scheme for SAML SSO across 12 identity providers, migrating each IdP to a new primary certificate within a defined rotation window before retiring the outgoing one. This eliminated downtime and manual effort from periodic rotation.

Owned payments, API authorization and microfrontend delivery.
Engineered a secure Golang REST API for Stripe Checkout with idempotent session handling and AWS ElastiCache caching, cutting redundant Stripe API calls by 70% and improving response latency by 40%.
Built cross-domain GraphQL authorization with an AWS Lambda Authorizer integrated into AWS AppSync Merged APIs, centralizing authentication and migrating access control from API keys to token/cookie-based auth.
Developed React microfrontends with Module Federation (Webpack 5) and Zustand, implementing a publish-subscribe model for inter-MFE communication. Cut load time by 23% with React.lazy, Suspense and dynamic imports.
Secured GraphQL APIs on AWS AppSync with a custom authorizer that validates sessions against Redis, reducing authorization latency.

Started on the frontend platform and content-authoring tools.
Diagnosed and resolved a production issue in a React microfrontend architecture caused by cached remoteEntry.js files. Implemented content hashing in Webpack Module Federation to eliminate stale asset conflicts.
Extended CKEditor 4 with custom plugins to improve the content-authoring workflow and add advanced editing capabilities.
